The Academy Awards.
For our film society, we hosted the awards show in our editing lab, which actually worked out perfectly. There was popcorn and sparkling cider and all was good.
My thoughts:
Octavia Spencer-Yes, thank goodness. I thought she deserved to win. Even though I would have LOVED to see Melissa win, I had a feeling they would go in a different direction. Octavia had the comedic and dramatic elements....

happy Sunday morning
Woke up, made some breakfast, scrolled through Tumblr, hoping other people were up, and downed some coffee to complete that wake up strategy.
Listening to some music to get me ready for the day, did some Yoga and prayed. I didn’t get up for church this morning, which I feel bad about, but sometimes praying by yourself, relaxing, is the best thing. I don’t always like when I go to...

Waiting out in the cold for an hour and a half, almost freaking out because they wouldn’t open the fricking door, was all worth it.
Fun. was awesome. Saying they are very good live is an understatement. They had a great stage presence and their lyrics are wonderful.
I only wish I had heard about them a little sooner. I knew a few of the songs, but only the chorus. I’ll just say that...
